Leaving São Paulo, the best option is to take Rodovia Fernão Dias.

• You pass Atibaia on the right and then take saída (exit) 37"A" which will lead directly onto Rodovia Don Pedro I (SP 65) going towards Jacareí / Via Dutra
• Follow Don Pedro I (SP 65) until you reach saída (exit) 65;
• Take saída (exit) 65 signposted to PIRACAIA - the road is called Jan Antonin Bata.
• Drive through the centre of PIRACAIA, following signs for BAIRRO DO PEÃO
• Take Rodovia Franco Montoro (the road linking Piracaia and Bairro do Peão) for 9 Km, then turn left onto a non-tarmac road – you will see a sign on your right saying "Estrada Normando Peçanha". (There will also be a black and white sign indicating CASA DO LAGO on the non-tarmac road).
• After approximately 1 km, you will see the sloped entrance to Casa do Lago on your right.
